    I have never posted a request myself, just pointing out the fact that some people don't have a computer so maybe it might be a good idea to get a search function people can use on phones to stop the endless requests. No need to be so rude
    Or maybe they should go use a laptop?

    I'm sure a better search function for phones is in the pipeline, but I doubt if "so LC students can find hints for their mocks more easily" is driving that.

    Boards or the people who voluntarily mod this forum and try to keep it in some way useful and tidy have absolutely no need to allow this thread at all you know, and there are times when I wonder why we take on the hassle.

    My apologies if you felt my somewhat blunt and frustrated response to the idea that because people couldn't search on their phones for hints re: the mocks, the answer was to allow a 100-page thread full of nothing but requests so that no-one could find anything at all, was rude. My bad!

    why do you need spoiler tags if they dont want to know they shouldnt be reading the forum?
    Apart from the points already made, people are often panicking about just one exam, and don't want to see info on the others by accident.
    not saying they aren't entitled and mocks have nothing to do with the actual thing they are completely different companies and are to test more for timing. I'm just saying it would be smarter to have a separate thread for how they are going with no hints at all.
    And that would be two threads ... which would be fine, if people followed the rules for each.

    The nearly 1,000 deleted posts in this thread suggests that people aren't very good at following rules, and that all we would have would be two threads to clean up!

    Pros: 1: Oisin I dTir na nOg - There are five short questions on this.

    Considering spam is a pointless, annoying message (like this), no we're not. If you think we're so 'moany' for trying to keep a bit of order, guess what: that big, red X in the corner of your browser exists for a reason. God forbid you have to go through 17 pages of mock cheats to avoid studying, our hearts bleed. Truly.

    Section C;
    Roads, Structural Forms, Surface Geometry, Dynamic Mechanisms (Cams & Linkages) and an Assembly of a pipe clamp

    Avoid studying ? Yes I'm just going to read the spoiler and not study ! I understand the annoyance when people request time after time Irish English maths biology geography when it's been posted but along with that are your numerous comments ! No one has posted the one thing on accounting I wasn't which is the ratios on deb and whether club or service is on deb, yet I have to read 'do not post requests' and 'anyone have Irish paper 1 ?' A million times it is there about ten times I understand your frustration like you understand mine thank you
    For every 20 or 30 (or more) requests, we post one reminder not to make requests. You don't know that because you can't see deleted posts, but moderators can, and believe me, there are a lot of them. If we weren't telling people to stop posting requests and deleting the ones we see, you'd be in a much worse situation, and really you're moaning more than we are!

    Just PM someone who's posted an accounting spoiler to find out what you want, that's your best option, not dragging the mocks thread more off topic than it already is.

    Here's some hints for HL Maths Paper 1, a very tricky paper :mad:
    Factor Theorem, graph f'(x), f''(x). complex numbers: geometric sequence with complex numbers (you have to find an unknown 8-pi, find p) express in z1 in polar form, use DeMovries Theorem. Translations, graph g(x) under the translation of f(x), inequality, differentiation (rate of change), very hard sequence and series question on growth of bacteria.
    Hope this is some help!

    I only remember the questions that I have done, as we don't get to keep the papers;

    SECTION 1:
    I did a question on Louis Le Broqucy. You had to discuss him and his two works and illustrate them.

    SECTION 2:
    Claude Monet; discuss 2 works of his and his style etc etc I remember there being a question on Romanesque architecture and also Michelangelo

    SECTION 3:
    A question about an exhibition you visited and how all the different groups of people would enjoy it. Name and illustrate two paintings in that exhibition that would appeal to children/old people.
