Hi I'm looking to find information on windsurfing around Lough Ree , Athlone. It probably isn't the most popular spot compared to certain coastal areas but if theres water and wind right?
I know there is a small boating club called baysports located beside the hodson bay golf club, and went for a visit yesterday only to find that they are currently closed. Would anyone here know what season they operate in?
I did some wind surfing when i was younger and am looking to get back into it, so i'm basically looking to see if they provide boards to rent? and maybe some help with rigging as well!
Or does anyone know of any other wind surfing facilities around the lake?
