Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Once again, apologies for the delay in scoring. I've had a busy few weeks.
The final week's top scorer was patmac who got all four results correct with two of them pretty much bang on.
But the "provisional" winner (i.e. the person with the most points from match predictions only) is Agus with 207 points. He finishes a point ahead of smashey who has spent pretty much the whole competition camped in second place.
But it's not over yet. There's still the initial predictions made before the start of the league all those months ago to consider. There are still at least 5 users with the chance to overhaul Agus in top spot. I'll calculate those points ASAP.

Comhghairdeas to Agus who is the 2014 National Football League Pools Champion. Agus finishes the league on 225 points. Agus extended his lead to 3 points after scoring 18 with his initial predictions. There was a tie for second place with both smashey and PaddyCar finishing on 222 points. Comic Book Guy was just a single point from making it a three way tie.
Interestingly, all of smashey's, PaddyCar's and Comic Book Guy's points totals would have been enough to win the competition outright in the last two years so the quality of predictions (or maybe just the predictability of the league) has certainly increased.

In the initial predictions, every single person correctly predicted Cavan to be promoted from division 3. All but one predicted Westmeath to be relegated from Division 1 while only 2 failed to predict Donegal's promotion from Division 2. Other than that it was a mixed bag from everyone with Derry being the main team that exceeded expectations with many tipping them for relegation.

So congratulations again to Agus on his victory. He can make it a double by winning the SFC pools competition which is located here:
