Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The pressure is on Arsenal to get a result after 6 of the top 7 getting all 3 points. They will also be out for revenge after the opening day defeat to Villa at the emirates.

Predicted Arsenal team: Szczesny, Sagna, Mertasacker, Koscielny, Monreal, Arteta, Wilshere, Rosicky, Ozil, Cazorla, Giroud.

    Prediction: 2-0 to Arsenal.

Arsenal to win by at least 2, Villa are playing some terrible stuff (coming from a Villa supporting mate) and will need a huge performance to get anything here, cant see past Arsenal TBH.

Arsenal to win 2-0. I can't see any threat coming from Villa, Arsenal should be eager to make up for the defeat at the Emirates on day 1.

    Arse 4-0 .

3-1 to the Goons. I hope. Cant see Villa troubling us too much, they've been pretty poor lately.

    5 - 0 to Villa

If this ends 1-1 do Arsenal stay third or jump Chelsea? They'll both have an identical record

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

I shall predict that one of Villas forwards will conspire to find the goal at home but that Arsenal shall score 2.

I think we pass them out by virtue of the alphabet :)

Seriously though, at the end of the season it would go to a playoff.

Does it not go to goals scored?

Villa are mid-table with some bit of pressure of the league regulation battle going on just beneath them , so its not do or die yet for them .

Like to Arsenal drop some points :P but i think they will be too strong for Villa tonight ....Is Olivier Giroud fit?

I could see him ending his drought every time he plays.

Doesnt necessarily mean its going to happen though.

Thought that looked relatively innocuous. Hopefully he's ok, looks serious. Hopefully just being cautious.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

That Villa back line wouldnt fill me with much confidence right now.

Nice break for villa to regroup.

It can kill yere flow too.

We had a long break Southampton too when we were battering them for the first 5mins, we stuttered to the HT break after it.

Its always the simple looking ones that can end up nasty.

Looks like they are taking precautions and suspect spinal injury.
the oxygen was concerning as he must be in distress.

Hopefully muscle injury and nothing too serious.
