Help identify this pudding from the 80s

Hi i'm just wondering does anyone else remember the sponge type pudding that came in a tin. I think it was kinda moist and would have it with custard. I was young and i only barely remember it. Does it ring a bell with anybody?

Its not showing on tescos site but I saw them there before, in the section with jelly and ice cream sauces. You put the opened tin in boiling water

Yes I reckon it was like that. I'm sure we would heat the can in a saucepan of water. I have a craving for it the last few weeks. Thanks now I wonder where sells it.

MacDougalls saucy sponge.

How I remember them is that one day I ate a whole one and then vomited.

All of 38 years ago or so, but I still remember it and being sick.

Tesco has tinned sponges! I bought one recently - it was incredibly sweet - had treacle or golden syrup at the bottom of the container, when you cooked it in the microwave you upended it onto a plate and the treacle was on top and oozed down the sponge. Incredibly nostalgic but as I say incredibly sweet I remember ones that you boiled in a pan ofwater to heat too!
