Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi all. Apologies if this question has been asked. I'm looking for a nice comfortable pair of over ear headphones. I have 50ish to spend and don't want to waste it on the advice of a store assistant who may not know what he's talking about. Something nice looking with decent sound. Thanks guys

I just got a set of sennheiser hd-219s. Really comfortable great sound and fairly compact too. They are between 40-55 euro depending where you buy them from.

These are not exactly what your looking for as they are 'On Ear' but they are within budget, and match the rest of your criteria. Sound is good quality compared to the price you are paying. I believe they represent good value.

    AKG K451 and UE 4000

Get some headphones online. Recomended ones:
    JVC HA-S500
    Takstar Pro-80
    Takstar HD5500

All of above will be within or a bit more than price range but will blew any senns or akg within same price range out of the water.

    Wrong ladies...

Dude get yourself a pair of Creative Aurvana Live

The big guns on headfones say so themselves on their wall of fame...scroll down for them...

The sneaky bit is that the insides are from a €200 pair of Denon's so when
Creative were selling them for €100 they were a bargain, now they sell for €80 but
regularily drop down to just €50 sale price or can be picked up for the same price
if you do a 'birra google-fu on the web.

Have a pair meself among others, crackin' pair for the price!

    IMHO

Are there any that don't allow everyone around you to hear what your listening to.

Finally went for the Sennheiser HD201 at €25. I was able to try out a good selection in power city before buying and found these to sound good and fit comfortably
