Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey

    I've got 2 kids and I'm single and working part time. I get 308 per week from work. 110 opf and 50 fis as well as 50 maintainence. I'm living at home with parents in a converted granny flat my kids, boy and girl. Share a room... Just wondering how long it takes to get a housing need assessment and If I'm deemed in need of housing how much will I get and how long will the whole process take? I've an appointment for going on the housing list next week.

    Also have heard about a grant in lieu of social housing. Anyone ever heard of this?

    As your weekly net income is over 500 euro its unlikely you will get any rent allowance at all.
    If you are working in excess of 30 per week you are disqualified anyway.
