I've had a few bad bottles in the past, but that can be said of all the Irish breweries.

What? They produce the best beers in Ireland imo. Also picked that beer up along with Castaway. Not in the mood of sour so may go down the Red Hop with Magic Rock and Lagunitas ones.

Don't get me wrong; it's still a great beer and you will enjoy it but that was the one thing that grabbed me about it.

Got hold of a bottle of Kinnegar's new sour, Sour Grapes. It isn't at all bad (With is expected for their beers.) but I feel that the malt was a little too powerful and clashed a bit with the fruit. Not too many bottles of it in town though so be quick.

    Where did you get it?

I loved geuzeberry and wish they would make more

Is that brewed at Brewdog/Berlin or Us?

It's output from Stone's Berlin brewery, hopefully it won't be extortionately priced as the Stone beers we got 2-3 years ago.

It'd be nice to try Ruination again. I really liked it.

After going to the brewery and their restaurant in San Diego a few years ago I can't wait to drink their beer again.

IPA is €3.50 (330ml can) and Arrogant Bastard €4.70 (500ml can) in Fresh.

Seriously fresh too. Canned on the 10th and 13th June respectively. I got mine in Molloys Clonsilla.

Unfortunatlly did not live up to expectations. Omnipollo is king and nothing can change it at the moment at least in europe.

Sierra Nevada Otra-Vez. Lovely and sour.

Founders Dirty Bastard. A little hoppier than I'd expect for a Scotch ale but still bloody good, although Backwoods Bastard wins the Battle of the Bastards quite convincingly.

I enjoyed that, nice and light.
They released a four pack recently: Chocolate Chilli Stout, Six Rights IPA, Dunkelweisen Bock and Bourbon Barrel Aged Bigfoot.
The stout was lovely, like Narwhal but a bit sweeter and a small bit of heat. The IPA great also, I was starting to get IPA fatigue but this one was the best I had in a while, light, silky and a nice lemon/lime hop profile.
I wasn't too crazy about the others, the Bigfoot was a but too Bourbony.

Lovely bitterness from the Stone IPA. Not as fruity as most of the stuff around these days but I love a high IBU's so loved the IPA.

Will Stone be distributing their Enjoy By series?
They also have a nice Coffee Milk Stout and Imperial Stout.

Trying it now, not the hop aroma it once had and alot more bitterer

A sneaky can of Surrender to the Void while watching the match. Has to be one of the stand out Irish beers of the year. Solid stuff.

A Gulden Draak quadruple to celebrate the win. Superb beer, smooth, sweet, yeasty, strength well masked.
