    Lads,

I nicked myself just under the nose when I was shaving at about 8am this morning, it's nearly 3 hours later and it's still going.

I'm in work now and this is thoroughly awkward!

I'd normally just stick a bit of tissue on for a few min but that didn't work!?

    Somebody help please?

It might be a case where the position of the cut means that talking and facial movements keep reopening the cut. I'm a beardy so I can't have much experience with razor cuts but might it be possible to stretch it deliberately and hold that position with a bit of issue? You might look ridiculous for a bit but it would allow the blood to clot sufficiently.

That might be a completely ludicrous suggestion but from the information given it's the only thing I can think of and it's probably what I'd do.

Won't help you this morning, but everyone should have a styptic pencil in their shaving kit.

30 seconds with a styptic pencil would sort out most cuts/nicks - even difficult spots like under the nose/top lip.

It's something similar to what you said, it's kind of on the edge of my nose and I think breathing is actually stretching it a bit.

I went and hid in a quiet part of the office for a while, it's slowed down now at least. This has really lead to an unusual morning!

    Thanks for your suggestion!

Same as with any cut I suppose. Use a clean tissue and apply consistent pressure until the bleeding stops.

I'd highly recommend this as well

Less painful than a Styptic and also dries clear so no need to worry about the white residue. I had awful problems when I swapped to a DE razor for the first couple of shaves and found this and Styptic pencils to be a great help.

Yeah, the styptic pencil is the job. The best thing about it is you'll only ever have to use it once because after you use it you'll make sure not to cut yourself again :D

This is what I use. Highly recommend.
