Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I heard yesterday about someone who apparently has converted their oil heating sysytem to one that costs about €40 per week to run, and it is constantly on. Uses coal and apparently its about €1500 to convert your oil system to run on it. Never heard of this myself, and can't get speaking to the person involved. Does…

€40 would run most oil boilers if on constant and the house (dependent on size) insulated correctly. You can buy solid fuel boilers but with installation cost i can't see it at 1500 and converting most modern oil burners just couldn't be working as efficiantly as it would with oil.
