I'm getting a lot of weird glitches and time outs.

When I post in a thread the thread doesn't get bumped to the head of the list of threads. In the thread itself after I post I don't get brought to the end of the thread after posting I get dumped a page or two back (maybe the last place I was reading).

Just weird things happening. Probably ghosts or something, have you scanned for ghosts?

Yeah, my reply in a thread didn't show.
When I tried again it said reply was a duplicate of a recent reply.
    But still didn't show.

    Hopefully this will show.

    I think so.
I'm using the regular desktop version and it's taking very long to load anything at times.

phew i thought it was just me on ie8, pages taking ages to load, threads showing X posts (this shows 3) but don't display any posts. First post is showing in this thread but not in others

I refreshed After Hours a few minutes ago and it seemed to revert to a version of After Hours from twenty minutes earlier (i.e. most recent posts ~13:50, more recent posts made since that time were missing from threads).

Notifications of PMs aren't going away for me despite having read them.

Will start a thread in Site Development linking them back here.

Did they let Dav alone in the office again? :P

Very slow to load the site, notifications all over the place, replies not showing after I leave threads, etc.

Sorry, just saw this in Announcements:

    Hi everyone,
You may have noticed that the site has become very slow today. Unfortunately we are experiencing some trouble with our database servers which is causing this slow down.

Our wonderful tech team are investigating the issue and will have things back to normal as soon as possible.

There may some some knock-on effects such as duplicate posts which has already been reported to us.

Please be patient while the team work on this, we'll have things back on track as soon as we can!

    Thanking you :)
