Type 25 Westfalia sky-light needed.

Hi all. Have a 1984 VW t25 high roof westfalia. Discovered the hard way that the height barriers on the M3 tolls are not all the same height off the ground.:(

Any one here breaking a high roof Joker and have the square plastic roof light available, or has a similar situation and found a source?

Nothing on German ebay at the moment.

Mini heki plus is nice as it includes flyscreen and blindand is more streamline although thats not an issue in a t25 :pac::pac:

You can still get replacement parts for those (at least for the pop tops you can, not sure if the high top one is the same)

And TBH, for a westy I think it's worth keeping it stock. Have you seen how much they're going for now?!

Kepping it Stock .. a new skylight would be the best bit after 30 years its probably 50% composed of seamsealer, fibreglass and repair panels :pac: at least our t25 was.

Apparently the westfalia cut out is 425mm mini heki is 400mm and the flange on either side isn't very big so you're reinforcing fam would need to overlap the hole little.

I changed the one in my toyota camper my self with the help of friend who knew what he was doing. Check the make of the sky-light, is it Fimma. I got one on line from charls camping, there were some differances so some cutting was needed. You also need sanflix sealent.

Have a look on the link I posted - some parts are still available *new* as somebody bought the mould and continues to make them. Not cheap, but that's because the westy fittings were double-glaze acrylic. Single glaze (inferior) versions are also available...
