Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

im currently doing a build and looking for some parts as i have ideas to be "original" in regards to furniture etc im just wondering could someone give me a hand as to where i could find industrial pipe parts and fixtures

the pictures below are what im looking to re-create and if the parts are available could you let me know where in dublin i could pick them up, dublin city or blanchardstown would be great :)

also is it possible to complete these ideas:) because to a plumber it might look like a peace of p*ss or just connecting a few pipes together with things you use on a day to day basis

    thanks for the help

BSS in Dublin 8 would have the Kee Klamps and piping and as for the flanges ,GB/Galvaised pipe ,valves, reducers etc any decent plumbers merchants would have them. The difficulty you will run into will be threading the pipes

Looks like 20mm conduit to me in the fourth and last picture. Any electrical wholesalers will have dat. Ur going to need a threaders to thread that pipe.

The easiest way to get the exact parts you want would be to print those photos and bring them with you down to the suppliers and show them to the lads on the counter and they will have no bother getting them for you.A word of advice for you reguarding threading make sure the pipe is securely clamped in the vice and keep the pipe and dye well lubricated and cut at least 9 threads on to the pipe to be sure you get a secure fit

With the exception of going to a few scrap yards and asking would they have suitable scrap you will find it difficult, with the price of scrap and the state of things these days. Most of what you are looking for can be reused and is often kept for future jobs, things like Kee Klamps dont get scrapped becuase the very expensive to buy new.Do you know anyone involved in industrial fitting or plumbing or even any electricians?
