Just thought with the bad press that sometimes get thrown around with GAA teams and particularily concerning burnout with young lads, its good to see the Wexford Minor Footballers are trying to raise funds and awareness for 3 suicide charities and show there is more to life than just on the football field. Just thought with the bad press that sometimes get thrown around with GAA teams and particularily concerning burnout with young lads, its good to see the Wexford Minor Footballers are trying to raise funds and awareness for 3 suicide charities and show there is more to life than just on the football field.

They are running in the Hell and Back Challenge at the end of the month and are still looking for sponsorship and donations for the 3 chosen charities - Pieta House, Console and Wexford Marine Watch.

Every bit we can do to help suicide awareness and help these places save lives makes a huge difference. Dublin and Carlow in recent times have both had sponsored jerseys from Pieta House, and the GPA are starting up their own direct consultation for helping players.
