Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why won't my ATV2 play Netflix properly ?

Have supposed 2mB connection but most of the time it's just half of that.
Been watching Netflix on my Samsung Smart TV with no problems.
Connected my ATV2 for the past couple of nights as I wanted to output through my amp & speakers.
The ATV2 kept freezing and buffering and I had to switch it off.
Both my Smart TV and ATV2 are hard wired to the router /switch.
Anybody got any ideas what might be wrong ?

Ever checked if it was part of the recall? Is this a new or old issue?

Recall ? Don't know anything about that !

New issue to me as have been using Netflix for less that 2 months.
Bandwidth is not great but Netflix plays fine through the TV.
Wanted to use the ATV2 to take advantage of the amp & speakers

Mine was replaced for internet issues under this: http://9to5mac.com/2013/04/15/apple-says-small-number-of-apple-tvs-have-wifi-issues-opens-replacement-program/
    It may not apply

Has apple tv/netflix worked in the past? The bandwith is pretty low e

Ran test for network connection on ATV.
Got "Could not connect to Apple"
Ran test again and got "test successful"
Seems to be playing OK now.

Too often, people don't post when they have solved their problem.

    Thanks for the help !

Sometimes I get netflix steaming problems on my Apple TV 2 and 3 when it would work fine on my PS3.

Normally going into settings and restart solves the problem.
