Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Lads, did anyone else on here play in the Junior Scratch cup in Limerick Golf Club last weekend? Just that it's not showing up on Golfnet (even in the away scores section).

I know the CSS and have cut myself accordingly but it just gets messy.

Interested in the junior but pity it's a week day.

I've never played there, is it worth the €60?

To play it once and be able to say you played it is worth the €60.

You wouldn't pay €60 to play it again tho!

The first hole is the best on the course by a mile. Downhill after that.

    I played in it.

    Course was in great condition.

Greens had a true roll. I played with a member who said they're not as fast as they should be for this time of the year though.

The rough was sticky. Those fairway bunkers are punishing, depending where the ball ends up it could be a chip out side-ways.

    Good weather conditions, light breeze.

Will be interesting to see what won it.

I played it. I hadn't played there since before the changes and I'm not sure if I like the bunkering all that much to be honest. Other than that though it was in great nick. The greens could have been a bit quicker but there was a great roll on them. Fairways, tees etc were perfect.

I have a 4ball voucher for there which I was hoping to use before the scratch cup but didnt get the time but I cant wait to use it before the summer is out. Would love to play there every week!!!

Played it Sunday. Never played before, so nothing to compare it to. Interesting layout, lot of blind shots for us first timers. Greens were nice, as said earlier could have been quicker, but plenty fast enough. Fairway bunkers are a serious hazard, but the thick spongy rough was the real punishment. Almost unplayable when the ball sat way down into it. It didn't look severe, but your didn't want to be in there.

    Results:
    71
    74
    75
    76
    76
    76
    77
78's and 79's very many of...

Not a long course, blues not too far back. Light gentle breeze, so not playing too tough. That said, the one guy who broke par played serious golf.

I played last mon and thought it was in cracking shape! (Bar the bunkers). Playin tough, even a few feet off the fairway on some holes your ball can sit right down.

Played it Monday and the course 'thru the green' is in super shape. The bunkers are a bit rough and it looks like they've had some trouble with the greens but, though they look bad, they roll fine. Good luck!

Half the greens were dying, the grass has a disease that was spreading to all greens, very bad

Was hoping to play in this but timesheet is full. Surprised they're restricting it to 30 or so 3-balls. If anyone on here can't make it I'd love to take the slot.

Played in this too and think i might have figured. The greens were a bit of a shock to see and the rough was pretty thick off-piste but its a great layout.
