I work as a 1 man band and like to have the lyrics of my songs up in front of me while playing them. Currently I use display books and A4 printed sheets but I would like to put these on soft copy and use a simple 10" screen tablet to display them at will. How do you find out if current tablets operating systems will allow users to store and display notepad files?

Is battery life an issue? I might have 2-3 90 minute gigs a day. Is it possible to charge these devices from a car?

Anyone have any recommendations?
