Carrig Sound are currently the only place in Cork City teaching Sound Recording & Music Technology evening Courses!
They're great value for money, include legal software, and are hands-on from week 1.

For 2 hours each week (& 3 hours on the night you get to mic up and record a live band) you'll learn from the very basics (how a mixing desk works, the different processors, microphone properties & techniques), to more advanced recording & mixing techniques. Please see www.carrigsound.com/courses for full details on what's covered. This course lasts 22 weeks, finishing 8th July.

Our next course starts on Tuesday 4th February 2014 7pm-9pm and classes are a maximum size of 12, so every student gets plenty of hands-on experience on our Allen & Heath 40 channel mixing desk & dedicated computer, as well as micing up musicians in our Live Room. Our 2,000 sq ft studio premises are in Donnybrook Commercial Centre, Douglas, Cork City, with free parking, and the no 207 stops right outside. Directions & map on www.carrigsound.com/contact

    Course fee is just €290.

If you have any questions, please do call our Sound Engineer and Tutor Liam on 086 166 0338 and he'll be happy to answer them all!

If you have any general questions about Carrig Sound Studios, please contact the Studio Manager: val@carrigsound.com

    Thanks!
    :)
