Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am purchasing a new iphone.

However my mac is still running old software and is asking me to upgrade to latest itunes (which i cant do without paying to update Mac OS aswell).

When i receive my new iphone will i presume i will need to connect to itunes to get it up and running.

could i use a friends laptop and itunes to do this instead?

(music and contacts are all backed up to iCloud so it wont be an issue, i just need to set up phone)

You don't need iTunes to set up an iPhone any more

Yea OP no need for iTunes, just make sure to make an icloud back (provided youre updated enough to have icloud) that way there should be no need to connect to itunes.
