Help me choose some monitors for a new bedroom studio. I am singer guitar player getting into the recording side of things. Just bought an interface to link to PC but now realise that I need monitors.

Budget approx €200 for a pair. I was thinking something like m audio BX5 D2 or behringer B1030A

Both are getting good but somewhat mixed reviews.

I want to buy soon enough so any thoughts would be welcome

Get a good set of headphones instead.
Yamaha HS50's are decent at €300 a pair.
They're good for tracking, editing, etc.
If you're going be doing release worthy mixing, you're going to need to spend a lot more to get monitors that will let you hear what you're doing.

Headphones are hard on the ears. +1 for the Yamahas - quite impressed with the new generation Yamaha stuff

    €230 for a pair.
    They're getting great reviews online

Never been a fan of the budget Tannoy offerings - better to go used perhaps?

I'd hold off if I were you, or go second hand as TM suggested.
