Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

if any positives are to be taken out of this feckin draw its that gerrard is not a dm/ deep lying playmaker. his legs are gone and his reactions arent what they used to be. seems too slow when getting any tye of pressure put on him

What does that have to do with my post?

You mentioned that spurs will be on level points with liverpool in the fight for 4th, so i mentioned if man u lose they will be 6 points off

And if they win they'll only be 3 points off. That's almost unbelievable given that they've been so poor

A stupid analogy, one if the drivers could still be prosecuted for dangerous driving if seen by a guard for instance..... The keeper flying out illegally interferes with suarezs run. It should be a peno in this situation even if the player jumps the challenge from the keeper but it won't be given so the right thing to do is take a small bit of the contact and go down.

There was contact, people saying there wasn't are blind.

Ha ha and you call my analogy stupid.
There was no contact except when Suarez jumped into the keeper after he lost control of the ball.

I'd be delighted if Suarez left and Liverpool won the title next year without him, but he is a cheat. So i hope he's gone at the end of the season.

If it's cheats you want out of the league then there would be a fair few plane loads joining him.

Anyone looking at that and still claiming there was contact is either blind or deliberately obtuse about it.

Can't wait for the next incident where Suarez actually does get fouled and gets nothing, the outrage will be delicious.

Suarez turned away from the challenge. Are you not watching it being replayed now. It's stone wall.

Clearly guzan's left elbow/arm brings Suarez down.

It's definitely two points dropped in terms of the fixture. We should be beating the likes of Aston Villa at home. Didn't deserve to win though.

    Sorry what ?

We beat you at home last season 3-1 ....

All Sky analysts calling it a definite penalty with contact.

How can that be when an obvious and well known odious cheat is involved?

Its odd that Ex-Liverpool player Jamie Redknapp thinks that, isnt it...

So if 2 cars are on collision course and one moves out of the way is it a crash?

    :D very good!

In fairness most of the sensible Liverpool fans will admit it wasn't a pen. Imagine if it happened down the other end? Though holt would more than likely give away a free kick for fouling the keeper! Man he's poor.

Free are often given when players jump wild challenges with no contact. Players get sent of for dangerous challenges where there is no contact. It's nothing new.

In any case if you are watching the sky sports now you will see exactly why it is a penalty, as there is contact between the keepers me suarez foot.

You don't hear the people in the studio saying it isn't, even petrov who obviously massively favours villa.

Funny that, because the danish and italian coverage are both calling it a blatant dive

The point I was making was Liverpool have been good this season, and if you ask someone how Spurs have been you'll probably be told they are poor. And yet this time tomorrow both could be on the same amount of points.

It looked like you were taking a pop with that post in fairness, apologies if I misinterpreted.

You're right a loss tomorrow and United will be 6 points off 4th, a win and it's only 3 points. Amazing really when you think about it and all the guff Moyes has got.

Still United need to start playing well before even thinking about 4th, fully deserve to be where they are now.

Fair dues to Gerrard for openly admitting it wasn't a good 45mins for him in the DM role, he said he was swamped but tbh he's had two games there where he's not looked the part

Jamie Redknapp - '4th in the league now Stevie, if I offered you that at the end of the season would you take it'

^ He's not the full schilling, mother of god, 'Hey there Steven, y'know that competition you haven't played in for about 5 years...would you play in that again if I offered you a place there now?'

    Well done Jamie. Well done

or you can look at it like "steven, do you think 4th is the best you're able to achieve this season, so just sign for it now as you've no chance of the title"

    that's what he's asking him

    Whats with this 'neutrals' ****?

Nobody is pretending to be a neutral, fans enjoy watching their rivals drop points. Cop on to yourselves, seeing this **** in every Liverpool match thread.

Again, everyone - this will be carded from now on, regardless of who it is aimed at. There will be no entertainment of excuses and posts will be deleted and carded as necessary.

Discuss the game, not who is posting. It is not very difficult.

Only seeing this now but to be 100% fair to Suarez it was a cracking dive, arguably one of his best yet.

    The fall was very realistic.

It was a penalty because it was awarded.
It was a clear dive though.
