Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Rafael was just showing Phil Dowd what a red card tackle really looks likes!

United turning very sore losers at the end

    Practice will make perfect.

    dowd is clueless

mirallas karate kick on suarez - yellow

rafael two-footed tackle, dove from about three feet away three seconds too late - yellow

vidic mistimed tackle on hazard, hazard rolls about as usual - red

    he's obviously colourblind

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 7,771 ✭✭✭michael999999

United players look out of control. Should have been at least two reds!

Can't complain about either. Two stupid tackles. Well done Chelsea, made it count when it mattered. Write this season off and start again

I cant stand Danny welbeck. Its time to vent. He is Not a winger. Not a playmaker. Not a fecking Leading striker. He reminds me of someone kidnapped from a kenyan athletics team. He will run All day Thats it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,195 ✭✭✭✭JRant

    Well a loss was expected

That United team has no chance of beating Chelsea

Yep, they were set up all wrong again. At this stage I'm starting to wonder if Moyes has enough about him to come back from what is tirning into an awful season. We might not get any European football next season at this rate.

"Well, yeah, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man"

I'm a Gunner so not bitter

But the amount of Pool fans that come in on the wind up is pathetic.

Chelsea v United both interacting on the match in a decent manner and then the sideshow. Form is temporary class permanent

    Vidic deserved a yellow.
That stupid Brazilian deserved a red.

    Sell him quickly

Without Ferguson wringing the extra 10% out of every player, United look like what they are - a few world class players and a lot of mediocrity. They desperately, desperately need to buy.

Chelsea now look like a proper Mourinho team. Hard-working, everyone knows their job. Going to be difficult to beat, although even as a Chelsea fan, City look too strong to be beat for the title.

Vidic red card was yellow at most, not cynical, Hazard with a deft touch to move ahead of him. Shocking decision and puts the team in further disarray.

Can't disagree with the Rafael tackle, was pretty bad, suprised if he doesnt get a retrospective ban. Players letting Moyes down no end with that sort of carry on.

toothless again in attack all day

Vidic's red was an absolute joke though, as plain a yellow as you will ever see.

Better team won easily, could have been different game if United made their early dominance pay but they didn't have the quality to do it. Hard to see past City and Chelsea for 1 and 2.

In fairness a lot of Liverpool fans don't post in the Utd game threads, the ones that do seem to be the youngest fans. Fans of all teams with that maturity act the same.

In the end though, the Glasers and Fergie really stuffed Utd.
Everyone knows Utd's midfield has been lacking for years but nothing really done about it

the class of 2013/14 is nowhere near the same as Scholes, beckham etc

Yeah, I think Arsenal will fall away a bit due to having a worse squad when they get injuries. Top 4 will stay that way I think. Deservedly so, they're all playing good stuff for decent periods of time.

Just referring to the ones posting today. Agree all have them but there always seems to be an overbundance in the united ones. I'm sure half are on ignore anyway

Jodie Foster? Don't get the reference.

He's comparing you to the actress Jodie Foster and in turn calling you a girl. In the eyes of the soccer forum, this is a definite diss.

Not the first time he's done that either. He's going to end someone's career some day.

He's a liability when things aren't going our way although usually you can see it coming.. Horrible tackle from him he needs to go away and learn some discipline..

Didn't think Vidics tackle was a red card at all it was a yellow..

    Ref was terrible anyway..

United need to do something with their defense first goal terrible and then to concede before half time and right after.. Cant be conceding goals at those times, like conceding goals in the last minutes of games, it should not be happening..

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 35,514 ✭✭✭✭efb

Something very gay between those two in that interview. Eto tucking into Terry's neck when he was embarrassed, and Terry having to stop him doing it a second time by holding his head.
