Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. Moyes to pick a conservative team including Giggs, Chelsea tear through us in first 10 minutes 2-0 up, United score after 30 minutes against the run of play, defensive error letting Wellbeck in, after half time Moyes changes things and United play better but get caught on the break 3-1... United pile on the pressure, a lot of honest endeavour, but no end result because we've no finishers, Chelsea get late goal 4-1 final score...

Here's hoping for Chelsea's most controversial 3 points in a long time.

Any Utd supporters who believe in their team really should have a punt - they are 4/1 which is a massive price for Utd in the PL.

I don't believe in this team at the minute, even less so every time I see Moyes has picked Valencia/Giggs/Cleverley yet again, but Manchester United are 9/2 on Betfair right this minute. Crazy odds, so they are getting my money today.

Ill be daft or brave after reading All The post but Ill Pop 10e on 1-1. Have a sneaky feeling utd will Score and Chelsea will find it hard to break utd down. A Champions League away perforance from utd playing on The break. Welbecks pace to catch Terry or cahill out at some stage. Id never be as Happy to get a Draw

1.67euro spent wisely on 4-2 to Chelsea with Torres to score first @225/1.
    Comes in at over 300euro.
Or as I'm calling it, Feb's rent.
    :D

At least the story of Rafael being injured was wrong,BBC made a mistake and mixed him up with Fabio.

@CraigNorwood: Team vs Chelsea: De Gea, Rafael, Vidic, Evans, Evra, Valencia, Jones, Carrick, Young, Januzaj, Welbeck

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,136 ✭✭✭✭Rayne Wooney

Really should have Kagawa in there

Really should have Kagawa in there

Moyes doesn't trust Jan or Kags to do the tracking on the left.

    Etoo starts ahead of Torres

    Fair point.

Though is Young considerably better at tracking back? So much to warrant not going with a far better Jan/Kagawa combination?

It looks like negativity again from Moyes, but away against Chelsea I don't really blame him

The state of United's team holy sh*t.

Chelsea: Cech; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta; Ramires, David Luiz; Willian, Oscar, Hazard; Eto’o
Subs: Schwarzer, Cole, Mikel, Matic, Lampard, Mata, Torres.

Manchester United: De Gea; Rafael, Evans, Vidic, Evra; Valencia, Carrick, Jones, Young; Januzaj; Welbeck.
Subs: Lindegaard, Giggs, Smalling, Hernandez, Cleverley, Fletcher, Kagawa

Not playing Kagawa behind Welbeck is an epic fail by Moyes

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,019 ✭✭✭✭adox

Young and Valencia both start and no place for Kagawa?

The end really can't come for Moyes soon enough.

Isnt that not the strongest available team?

No, Fletcher and Kagawa should feel very hard done by.

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,195 ✭✭✭✭JRant

Yet again Moyes changes his centre-back and midfield. No wonder there is no consistency in the performances.

He obviously didn't learn in the last game when he switched Jan and Kags. To much chopping and changing.

Honestly, Kags played great behind the striker last week and Januzaj was more effective from the left. Why **** with that?

It just takes away all the good we saw in the last game, and promotes the endless crossing that has us 7th in the table.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,428 ✭✭✭Talib Fiasco

Kagawa and Fletcher would be slight improvements to the team but it's still a shocking team to take to the Bridge.

Mad ted. At least I don't have to watch Cleverly fumble around and **** it up (Good Will Hunting reference )

As a Chelsea fan, I fear that United's inevitable backlash may start today.

So confident, but quite wary all the same.

Because he thinks he has to be like Fergie and constantly tinker with the team.

Valencia should be nowhere near that team, the Chelsea fullback will need new shinguards by the end of the game after Val is done smashing the ball off his legs time & again.

Young did ok from the right,it stops him cutting in & over hitting balls.Januzaj on the left would keep Chelsea occupied and as a result stop them over-running Evra, that set up would also leave room for Kags in behind Wellbeck.

Jesus Ya cant Win With some of Ye. What has kagawa Done bar 30 mins against swansea to deserve a starting place. He has Been in crap form in most Games. Its quiet clear The team is picked With hard working wingers Who Can defend and try and counter attack. We are Not strong enough in center mid and defence to go toe to toe at Chelsea.

Not liking that United team at all. Would much rather see Kagawa in place of Young.

Interesting stat: United haven't lost in their last 7 away EPL games, 5 wins and 2 draws.

    1-1. Januzaj and Hazard.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,465 ✭✭✭supersean1999

I Dont like Valencia but i Can unterstand Why he is picked. Same With young. They will work there ass off away from home against a team in better form.

He provides the only shred of creativity and ambition in the team bar Januzaj and Rooney. Having wingers who will track is all well and good but they won't contribute much going forward. I hate picking a team purely to negate the opposition.
