Hard Vs Soft water / Water Charges

    I posted something about this before on how i moved to Dublin 15 from central Dublin and i have had a nightmare with water due to the hardness of the water. I have gone through 2 boilers in 3 years costing me 4 thousand. Clothes only lasting a few washes.
    I have to buy water softener which i never had to do in the past. Limescale seems to collect in record time. My sister has gone through 3 washing machines in 5 years and ended up having to pay for a reverse osmosis filter as the water is so bad.

    Now that the water charges are coming in i really dont think we should be paying the same as areas who get soft water.
