Festivals in Central and Eastern Europe

Thinking I might do some interrailing during July and/or August and thinking I could plan a route with a festival or two in mind. What suggestions do people have for festivals that occur during these months? Not looking at dance based but more guitar orientated.

I went interrailing last August, we managed to do sziget for two days. It's very convenient to travel to from the city and was unbelievable craic. It also a good mix of acts and Budapest is a lovely city to visit. I'd recommend it!

Is it possible to see anywhere what the lineup is like for each day?

been to Sziget a couple of times, highly recommended - right in the city and Budapest is a great city - lots of attractions/ places to see/ eat and the ruinpubs.com

Blues nights in Lithuania on around 4-6 of July, known as Lithuanian Woodstock. Their page http://www.bliuzonaktys.lt/?page_id=181&lang=en but they don't have the schedule for this year yet.

The daily line ups won't be announced for a while yet. 3 of us went to this festival last year, it was very impressive.

The crowd were very chilled out, and as the previous poster said..cheap as chips!
