Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

iPhone 5S blue screen-keeps restarting

iPhone 5S keeps restarting and showing blue screen as well as other colours. I am aware of software problems caused by certain apps and hoped it would be sorted with 7.0.4.

It is now happening 20-30 times a day.

Reinstalled software using itunes but problem continues.

Should I just contact apple or does anybody know if there is a fix for this?

    Thanks

    Eddie

Eddie when you reinstalled the software did you restore from a backup again or did you set it up as a new phone?

Sometimes a backup can be corrupt and may actually put the fault back onto the iphone.

Set it up as new for a while, if its happening 20-30 times a day then you shouldnt have to wait long to see if the issue is fixed.

If it still happens then it may be a hardware fault and wil have to be repaired or replaced.

Rang Apple earlier after trying restore etc and they are replacing the phone.

It's a common enough issue on the iPhone 5c/5s. Apple have fixed the issue in iOS 7.1 which is in beta at the moment. Not sure when it will be on general release.

    More info here.

Yeah I get this issue very randomly on a 5S.
It seems very different to the OPs issue (with blue screen and other colours), and the fact that it's happening 20-30 times a day.

OP is right to get a replacement.
