    I need to check something please. Moved to another provider and the Eircom account was cancelled on the 23rd of the month. This was the second month of the two month billing period. Apparently the terms and conditions state that when an account is cancelled, this removes special call rates from the package and normal call rates apply from the date of cancellation. Why then, did the regular call rates apply retrospectively for the full two month period? I accept that from the date of cancellation, the new charges would apply but to do that for the preceding 53 days is a bit OTT.
