Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

SmackDown ends with everyone brawling in the ring to hype the Royal Rumble match.

Yeah but no one watches SD relative to Raw.

After all the hype, i felt that Batista's return was simply disappointing

    The show ran people off
Raw did something of an amazing 4.86 million viewers on Monday night and the big story was the ratings pattern.

    8 p.m. 5.25 million

    9 p.m. 5.00 million

    10 p.m. 4.36 million

I know they didn't leave Batista until the end of the show because there's usually a big drop between 8pm and 10pm but if you continue to put the show together like that it really becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.

Probably not now after his lackluster return.

People tuned in to see him and were let down. Well I was.

It unlikely you are the target audience. The target is those who have stopped watching in recent years. Batista, Lesnar, Rock etc are all there to try and get that audience back.

True. I recall the buzz that surround Rock's return amongst my peers that'd long since stopped watching. Yes, Rock brought'em back, but when his involvement ended, so did theirs; the prevailing response being 'what is this I don't even.....?' or the equally common 'it's gone a bit ****e, like'.
