    Hi FOlks,

    First of all...total tech/internet dunce.
just moved apartment and living in Portmarnock area.
    Got a good wi-fi offer.....€15 euro for 40gbs

BUT... speed is 2.3 (or maybe he said 2 to 3). thats minimum guaranteed.
would be using it for working from home (using a few different apps and programmes - remote accessing) and then the usual, netflix , facebook etc.

is that speed really poor ?

Speed is fine, but 40GBs and Netflix would probably mean you'd end up paying extra charges every month.

Netflix uses 2.3GB per hour in the best quality

It also needs about 5-6mbit for best quality.

My advise is to get some real broadband, not a limited mobile service
