I have a Compaq Presario V6500 which sounds like its starting up as normal but screen remains black. It was bought in late 2007. s/n: CNF7353M0G p/n: GT445EA#ABU when i google this problem i see i'm not the only 1 with this issue, it seems that sometime around september 2007 there was a batch of faulty Nvidia chips. Is there any way to find out if mine is 1 that was fitted with 1 of these faulty chips??
