    In Dublin ...

Is there any such thing as an "open night" where fathers/sons can go along to view the sky thru powerful telescopes ... also some guidance given as to where to look etc.

I am sure this sort of open-night was run by some astronomy club or something??

Can anyone point me in the right direction??

The second link you provided is not working

The site is being redone, and drops off periodically these past few weeks.
