Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Except that it isn't. It's not a coincidence that Arsenal are playing so much better, even when he isn't necessarily.

Arsenal are doing well for a number of reasons, not just Ozil. They have sorted out their defensive problems from last year and Flamini is playing well in the DM role. There quality of there squad as a whole has improved. Gnarby coming through, injuries less frequent have also helped.

Injuries have probably been more frequent if anything

£35-40 million pounds. Had a stand out couple of seasons but frozen out this year by Jose for one reason or another. Jose isn't exactly unfamiliar with freezing out big players.

The first 6 months of 2013 they had league winning form and they have continued that on. Ozil has been quiet poor by his standards in the last 2 months.
There was a noticeable lift when we got him, a feelgood if you will. That contributes to the teams morale and therefore their performances.

Flamini has helped a lot, yes. Injuries have been more frequent if anything though.

He is worth whatever a desperate team will pay in the January Transfer window

My sources tell me that no deal has been agreed.

My sources also tell me not to believe anyone or anything in the papers, only believe it when you see him at old trafford putting pen to paper.

If he was British he'd be worth about 15-20million more, the usual British player tax added on of course.

I would say that Ramsey's form and Flamini's introduction have both been more important. The idea that both of those players have only had the impact they've had because Ozil was signed is unlikely.

40m? Suarez must be worth 100m? Ronaldo/Messi 150m?? The world has gone mad...

Looking at Sky saying bid of 40m pound in so poll needs to be adapted;)!.....by the way I think that's more than he's worth.

I think that's less than what he's worth.

Why would Suarez be worth 2.5 Juan Matas?

I think Messi's price tag would easily be in and around 150m also, I don't know why you'd find that surprising.

Don't see why Chelsea would want to offload him for any kind of money. He's 25 and arguably the 2nd best player at the club regardless of how much playing time he has been given. For a club where money is no object (ignoring FFP which doesn't appear to have any effect on anything) I don't see any reason for them to get rid of him even if using him in rotation with oscar and/or willian. He's played more than Willian in the league this year it's not like he's been frozen out but he has been treated unfairly by Jose given how Mata has played for the club since he arrived.

More like Thiago. I'd expect this to go on for another week or so and end up with a £25m bid for Leon Osman.

All agreed. Juan Mata will be a Manchester United player. 45 million euros. All will be announced very soon

This means he is signing for Liverpool yeah?

The poll is utterly stupid. €40-€45m as the highest option. That's surely about the mid range for someone like Mata.

It's all relative of course but i William is worth near €40m then Mata's worth €60m. The €45m being touted seems a very fair deal for United given his age and some of the dross that have gone for similar sums
