    Just enquiring to know how long it takes to get paperwork sorted at the Death Section of Bank of Ireland. My fathers probate etc has been sent by solocitor but still no word on releasing the money to beneficiaries. It gone there since early December.

    Thanks, but i thought there was a special unit specially for these accounts and was wondering what sort of time frame was involved

    Hi jack7,

    There is a specific unit dealing with deceased customer's accounts and they would liaise with the solicitor dealing with the estate. Family members can liaise with the account holding branch. There is no standard time frame as it very much varies from case to case.
