    Hi Jenno!

    Love your title - Soundbar!

If it was me and I had €250 to spend these are the options I would go for:

    1. Roth Sub Zero II - Great sounding Bar with Bluetooth analogue and a digital input its really quite slimline but still manages to sound great and comes including a wall mounting kit - just £134.95 / €169.99 so well under budget
    http://www.richersounds.com/product/soundbars/roth/sub-zero-ii/roth-sub-zero-ii

    2. LG NB3530 - heavily reduced now to just £174.95 / €224.99 - Featuring Bluetooth and an active sub
    http://www.richersounds.com/product/soundbars/lg/nb3530a/lg-nb3530a

    3. Yamaha YAS201 - going to bust the budget slightly here - but this unit is by the godfather of soundbars and has exceptional quality for under €290 ( its £228/ €284.99) again its wall mountable and also comes with a wireless subwoofer to boost that Bass
    http://www.richersounds.com/product/soundbars/yamaha/yas201/yama-yas201

Delivery on any of these would be £12.95 and they are all in stock today for shipping,

    Thanks again,

    ATVB,

    Great, cheers John.

Its pay day next week so I'll see what the budget will stretch to! Like the LG one and I have an LG plasma.

Hi Jenno, cheers for the reply.

The LG is a nice bar and it's nice to keep the two the same, although the Roth does actually sound better with better quality dialogue, good bass without the extra sub and is much better for music than the LG.

The thing with Roth is that they are a small stereo company who make their products to sound great. LG have lots of strings to their bows so it's hard to specialise to the same extent.

Keep us posted if you would like either.

    Many thanks

    Dave

    Thanks for the info Dave!

I mainly watch football and would be nice for the world cup during the summer!

How would the bass preform in sports? When the football is kicked etc?

    Hi Jenno86.

The Bass from the Roth is fine.

Regarding the football being kicked there would not be a massive amount of bass from this action. The bass woudl be more noticeable in football if the fans are banging drums etc...

Movies are more what the subwoofer is designed towards.

    Hope this helps a little.

    Hi there,

Kenny is off today, hope you don't mind me jumping in.

I've read over the post and for what you're after I'd say the Roth is the soundbar to be looking at.  Good detail and packs a punch bass wise.

But!  If the budget allows then I'd go for the Yamaha out of the 3.  Yamaha are defiantly the masters when it comes to soundbars imo.  Very hard to beat.

    Hope this has helped.

    Chris

    Hey there,

I have decided to put the purchase off until April. That means I can spend more on it. I have up to 400 euro.

What would you recommend? Same criteria apply!

    Hey,

So going up in price doesn't get me anything better? Is it too small an increase?

    Hey Jenno86.

I only realised that this was your post:

By April there should be lots of this years NEW version out. We have no details on any of them as of yet but end of March start of April is usually when manufactures bring out their new lines.

Going up to 400 Euro for a sound bar I would be looking at the:
    Yamaha YHTS401 priced at £295.00 / 364.99 Euro
    http://www.richersounds.com/product/soundbars/yamaha/yhts401/yama-yhts401

    Samsung HWF550 priced at £299.95 / 369.99 Euro

    Thanks Kenny!

Any feedback on the JBL SB400 or LG NB4530?

    Hi Jenno86.

I haven't heard the JBL up and running as it is more of a special order for ourselves as a lot of the others are more popular.

The LG NB4530 does however sound well with good bass tones.

Having listened to a brave few soundbars it really does depend on your overall expectations.

Although I have to say Yamaha are hard to beat. If it was my 400 Euro I would be looking at the YHTS401 listed above.
