Wheel query

Considering buying this dynamo wheel for my commuter bike http://www.rosebikes.co.uk/product/detail/aid:203987

the bike has 700c wheels which i presume will be the same from the description. But in terms of width of the wheel is there variance that i need to take into account?

at the moment bike is running 700cx35 tyres so im guessing thats a 622-19 wheel??

Rose do a similar wheel, minimum 28mm tyre, I think 24mm rim, for about £75 with shimano dh80 hub.
Got one in November. 1500km trouble free since. I don't commute but imho the best choice for commuters. Get a decent lamp b&m or Philips.

Yeah have some mid range b&m ones in the basket.

In summary Sheldon says the tire width should be ideally between 1.45 and 2.0 times the rim width

In your case the RIM is 622 - 19 i.e 19 mm width

So tires from 700c X 28 to 700c X38 would be fine. You mentioned 700c X 38 which is spot on. The max safe width is 2.5 time the rims with i.e 47.5mm but this would not be recommended.
