    Hi.

Yesterday we had our eFibre installed but I'm having an issue with our home network now. Prior to yesterday, I had a Linksys WRT610N connected to an eircom router. The Linksys was in Access Point mode and served to extend the range around the house. It was wired to the back of the Eircom box. Id connect to the Linksys and get full speeds on our network. Worked perfectly.

Yesterday, when we got the F1000, I connected the Linksys up in the same way but when I connect to it now its telling me I've no internet connection. The F1000 is recognising that its there, but the connection isn't sharing across LAN.

I haven't changed where the cable is connected go either, both connected to LAN ports, so no idea why it wouldn't work straight from the box. The previous router hadn't had any IP changes and the Linksys was working with its 'out if the box' set up.

Anyone any ideas what the issue could be here? Driving me insane but really need it to work so we can get internet access where the F1000 doesn't reach.

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I had a thread about this before. I was trying to connect a P660 (Access Point) to my F1000 (Router). Was finding all sorts of problems. Intermittent signal trough the AP, Evision was dropping out and not working. Devices connected to the F1000 directly had no internet...Really weird stuff

Have you sorted this out? If so, How?

The WRT610N is a router, are you sure it's in access point mode and not routing

I eventually got this working by putting it a static route to. Not sure it it's technically required, but it worked for me.

Make sure your DNS, on the secondary AP, is set to the IP of your F1000. That's what I needed to do anyways. Can't do it with and EIRCOM P660HW-T1 v3 for some reason though
