Was looking at the We Got Game documentary, and seemed like really good crowds at Irish basketball games in the 1980s.

What sort of crowds does the likes of Killester get now.

I've young kids and am thinking as a spectator sport it would be possibly far preferable in terms of cost and accessibility to going to Croke Park or the Aviva.

    Thanks.

Basketball is going popular day by day in Ireland. So, the crowd will definitely increase.

The clubs are struggling with the lack of support from the government through COVID. If it isn't the big 3 sports they don't want to know.

As true and all as that probably is, any problems in Irish Basketball can usually be traced back to Basketball Ireland. An actual farce of an organisation soaking up every bit of basketball funding in the country for the last 15 years+ and putting it to zero use.
