    Hi guys,

I'm in the market for a new TV in the next few weeks so thought I'd put up a post and see what you might suggest.

    Looking for:

    -  46"
    -  LED
    -  100Hz/Full HD 1080p
    -  3 HDMI ports preferred
    -  Saorview compatible (I have UPC at the minute but it might be handy down the line)
    -  No real need for Smart features as I always have a laptop/tablet nearby
    -  3D not needed as it doesn't work on me anyway
    -  Will be used for UPC/Sky and HD streaming from my media server
    - Budget: €600-700ish

I live in Dublin so if ye could also let me know how much to deliver that'd be great.

    Cheers

I'm going to have to invoke the 'ish' in your budget request..

Unfortunately most of the 46" TV's by default have most of the features you dont need!

Here is what I think is the best option for you:

Sharp LC50LE651K - It uses Sharp's own 200Hz motion control but based on a proper 100Hz panel, its smart ( sorry), 3D ( sorry), 4 HDMi ports, Saorview ready as well - we can do it at just £579.95 and delivery would be £29.95 to Dublin - so all in £609.90 / €759.99 - a great spec for the spends.

If you could bust the budget and wanted a serious piece of quality, I'd look at the Panasonic TXL47ET60 - its a budget stretcher at £699.95 / €869.99 - but its completely amazing - delivery would be the same as the Sharp..
