Metal panels for welding needed

    Anyone know were i could get some metal panels/off cuts in Wexford ,going to try and repair rust holes on lawnmower deck.

    I'd be looking at car dismantlers for damaged unsaleable panels.
    I presume you intend to gas weld them?

    Might be a long shot but try the Council's recycling centre at Holmestown (near Larkin's cross), galvanised back panels off washing machines etc. would be ideal for what you want.Strong,light & easily worked,just cut to shape and pop rivet into place.

    where are ya?

    W generally have a skip full of metal out the back of the shed, theres probably something you can use in it.

    have you got anything interesting to trade?
