Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ignition for Honda BROS 400cc (1991)

    Hi guys,

I am hoping you might be able to help me out as I'm in a bit over my head.
I got my first bike 6 months ago, lovely BROS, I came home from a trip abroad to discover I need a new ignition, the whole barrel (the bike-sitter has been sacked! ;))
I've been looking online but as the bike is fairly old I can't really find an exact match wiring wise, I have 5 wires coming out of mine 2 the same colour and 3 different. On Ebay I saw one for a CBR400 which had 5 wires also, diff colour combo but again 2 of one and 3 others. Do you think this would be compatible?
Or can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Thanks in advance :)

In the headlight unit you should have three connectors for the ignition loom...one big block 3 ..small block 2 and a heavy red wire...thats wots on two of mine....

    Tnx for the pic Max.

One of my friends took it apart for me and it has 5 wires. I will try and get a pic later on today.
