USB on Evision Set Top Box.

    I would like to ask what is the functionality of the 2 USB's on the Evision STB? Could they be used to play videos from an external hard drive? Or are they just there for show as I cannot see any other reason for them. I would like to watch some videos on my drive but do not want to chance plugging it in to the Evision box in case it formats it.

    I've been advised that there were plans to make them usable for external hard drive however this changed and they are now deemed as non operational I'm afraid. I've also been advised that there are no plans to make these operational.
