Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The classic upset scenario awaits as a decent Championship side under rising young coach Eddie Howe take on a side with a lengthy list issues - be it form or injury. The visitors are bring the kids to the seaside for this one with Brad Smith, Cameron Banagan, Joao Carlos Texeira and Stephen Sama clutching bucket and spades. The actual starting 11 is the subject of rumourmonguring - some say it's the strongest possible minus Coutinho. Well see. soon enough.

    line up is

Jones, Kelly, Toure, Skrtel, Cissokho, Gerrard, Henderson, Coutinho, Moses, Sturridge, Suarez

Mignolet, Alberto, Aspas, Sterling, Ibe, Flanagan, Sama

Good to see Ibe on the bench, the selection looks worrying like a 4-2-4 formation.

Wow, minus Mig and Sterling that's basically the strongest team we can put out

    Whoops

Doesn't seem to be much of an injury crisis

Not sure what to expect from Bournemouth. Best to start with a strong team and give the young lads a run out later.

Sturridge at 4/5 to score anytime looks a good shout

Hmm a pint on Bournemouth and the nights drinking money on the above.

Rodgers doesn't need to play so many players that will be starting in the derby.

    fúcking annoying.

Alberto and Ibe, at least, should be starting.

A 2 man midfield with Gerrard as defensivd mid again? ****ing hell.

Is Rodgers making a statement to this transfer commitee? Rumblings on twitter that he did want some of the players signed.

Putting Sama on the bench is just weird, I expected him to be released if anything.

Eh - would you rather Alberto or Coutinho to play defensive midfielder?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,379 ✭✭✭hefferboi

Would have liked Alberto to start.

All codding and joking aside, it's a brutal back 5.

Also, why are we starting Victor fckin' Moses after Chelsea just shafted us to Salah

No id rather a 3 man midfield THEN leave him as DM. Thought that was obvious.

Four nil Liverpool. I'll give Bournemouth a goal if they get a set piece.

That's got nothing to do with the actual reasons he shouldn't be playing. Alberto should be playing in a 3 man midfield, or else Ibe instead of Moses.

I will say one thing about starting Coutinho - it might just give his confidence a boost if he gets on the scoresheet.

I know Bournemouth are wearing black shorts, but I don't like the all white away kit. It smells of Manc U.

Journo: You haven't played Moses in a while, Brendan. Any reason?

Rodgers: Yeah, they shafted us over Salah.

    Hendo's having a mare too.

the amount of space for Bournemouth to run through in midfield is frightening.
