Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'd be more worried Spures then Dean, seen as they were booed off the pitch on Thursday. Lets not worry about some foolish ref and keep our minds on the opposite 11 players cause I have a feeling they could be seriously up to prove a point.

Tbf I think we will too after getting knocked out of the CL.

We did well no one expect to win at Bayern. I think it's to bounce back after losing to Stoke in League and show we mean business.

Headlines tomorrow had Arsenal lost to a lower team, had two men sent off and Arsene too:

    ARSENAL TITLE MELTDOWN!!

Have to do the business tomorrow. It makes the next 3 weeks even more enticing.

I think we are gonna see a French rugby equivalent of Spurs tomorrow. They will be seriously psyched.

Arsène: "One day, I'll look back & be proud of what I've done. We fought with clubs who lose £150m/yr when we had to make £30m/yr."

    THIS.

a bergkamp wonderland are having physios & sports science people on the show tomorrow after the NLD to talk about the injuries and dispel myths as they put it.

they had Amy Lawrence (journo for the guardian) on this week, she was giving her thoughts/insight into the media, after this weeks stories, do the media pick on arsenal, etc.
she was saying people would've went there with a brief to write on ozil, most of the controversial stories are that type, opinion pieces, and some of them will just go with a controversial story/opinion instead of playing it safe (they've to submit by around the 75th minute in evening games, then someone else edits & does the headlines)
the media don't necessarily pick on arsenal specifically but they've 'hobby horses' they focus on at a particular time - ozil, rvp leaving man u, mata being frozen out, etc.

Just keeps getting more and more annoying that we failed to beat United.

Shows you what you can do with two top strikers up front. Very poor Utd team. Wenger must spend big time during the summer to buy a world class striker.

I love it for that fact alone seen RVP and his ego can't handle the downfall. Just funny he left us cause he wants to win things for years and years. Now they won't get CL football for at least one year.

Poor RVP must feel like ****e right now.

He's on a big wage AND he got his winners medal.
I'm sure he's gutted with that.

    We beat Mike Dean! :)

Lovely stuff, we were pretty adept at defending narrow leads earlier in the season, nice to see that return now. Kosc was MoM for me.

Offensively muck, defensively rock solid display. I'm confident we can step it up for Chelsea.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,984 ✭✭✭Soups123

3pts in the NLD away not a great performance but on the back of good performances, that's a huge result.

The squad is depleted if we can draw even at Chelsea and some of the boys come back we could give it a push .

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,984 ✭✭✭Soups123

In fairness he did his job well today

    Yeah he did actually.

Poor enough performance but got the win and were defensivley solid for the most part. Hopefully Ox isn't actually injured or we're really down to bare bones.

I reckon Mike Dean has been visited by the spirits of Arsenal past, present and future myself.

Next few games are even bigger now after this weekends results. Four points off with a game in hand, great position to be in and hopefully we will be in a similar one after this run.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,984 ✭✭✭Soups123

Lads Kos and Per partnership really is Adam/Boulder/Keown style the two boys are fcukin brilliant

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,984 ✭✭✭Soups123

Merson and Souness need to acknowledge we are missing huge players so course it's not going to be best performance.

Wilshire, Ramsey, Ozil & Walcott is neary half a team

I can only echo what's already been said, poor performance offensively but dang we were good at the back.

    Up yere holes Spuds.

Next three league games are massive. If we come out of that within 4, I would really fancy us then.
