Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This is really enjoyable. Gonna try watch these more often, helps fill in the gap from the senior team.

They blow hot and cold to be honest, some of the games have been good, some are terrible.

Please note though, that it's rare that I watch them, so my sample size is pretty small.

I love diaby, if he could master his injuries he would be such a weapon to have.

He'd be like a new signing! Wenger would be delighted he'd be able to save money!

Him and Ramsey with Ozil in front of that. That midfield has it all in fairness.

Its a lot bigger than mine though :pac: They have some excellent players and some big holes. Only seen a few games but only 2 out of the back 5 will make it imo, but midfield up is really talented.

For anyone questioning Diaby, you need only look at Rosicky. It took years for him to finally get fit and once he did he repaid that faith we showed in him for so long. Unlike someone else.

Defense must have drank some "Dreamy Sleepy Nighty Snoozy Snooze" at half time to play that badly.

The manager might have lost his fake hands.

    Gnabry substituted after 70.

    Must be instructions from wenger

For ten men, they aren't playing too badly.

    I'm actually a realist :D
Why do you think he was taken off?
On the doom and gloom issue I don't think any of those U.19 defenders will make it.

Saw that it was 2-2 in the 87th minute on twitter, turned it one to watch potential penalties and it was 4-2 :(

Youth team is like the first team - always get the goalie sent off against the European elite.

Great to see the club tie down all our key players to new contracts. Koscielny and Sagna signing next would be fantastic.

Galatasary were very poor. Was hoping they'd give Chelsea a tougher test than that !

Anyone see allnything of draxler's contribution v Madrid tonight?

Meant to tune in but totally forgot.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,264 ✭✭✭✭jester77

He is averaging 15 appearances a season since arriving at Christmas 2006 which is poor enough but tbf to him that first bad injury in 2006 caused a chain reaction. Horrible tackle that day. Here is a pic.

He had notched up several appearances up to that and could have been the key ingredient when we played Barca in the CL final that year until his bad injury and then he might have been rushed back for 2006-07 too. The Abou Diaby autobiography would be a book id like to read when he releases it. Pains me to hear the bit of mockery being made out of him because tbf to him he has probably gone the extra mile to come back from injury. Just so unlucky.

I saw an article recently about Dan Smith, the lad who did that tackle. He is now playing in Oz in the 4th tier of Queensland football.

Even so, their continued involvement in the Champions League must surely be a benefit to everyone else in the Premier League, right?

Even if they've got the squad to deal with two major competitions, it's still a massive distraction.

Are Ramires and Willian banned for the weekend?

Any word on Ramsey/Kallstrom being back available?

    Yup they both are out.
KK will probably be on the bench. Ramsey was supposed to be back in two weeks from last weekend so could make bench against City i suppose, i hope.
