Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Shrewd signing by Wenger by the looks of it. By no means a starter but with the injuries we have, it's looking like quite a neat signing.

Hope he's as good as they say at freekicks.
We have been poor at them.

Giroud has been a bit disappointing for late but 19 goals is certainly a decent return so far this season.

anyone else agree that Gibbs is just not a good left back, more of a winger for me. the amount of times we get caught out at left back is unreal

Özil - Walcott - Giroud would have been lethal. They rarely played together this season by the time Özil settled. With Özil and Walcott missing, Giroud has struggled.

    Not to mention missing Ramsey.

    ohhh.....that was contro.
    Swansea on a break there.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,608 ✭✭✭cathalio11

Disgrace that the referee blew. Gave Arsenal plenty of time to get their last chance and within 3 seconds, Swansea had a chance and he blows.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,431 ✭✭✭dvemail

Think i might just take a sabbatical on this thread for a while.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,940 ✭✭✭omega man

Any chance of winning the title is gone now. I hope to christ those 2 points don't come back to haunt us.

If the time is up then of course he should blow it up.

    Didn't deserve to win.

Poor display from Arsenal and they got exactly what they deserved.

Nothing to show that the players reacted after last weekend.

    Piss poor all-round

he saved us there. no doubt about it, that was heading for a 3rd swansea goal.

    everton could catch us.

    could = will.

  • Registered Users Posts: 957 ✭✭✭MonsterCookie

What a pain in the fukcing b0llix...

On the upside, we didn't lose. Wigan lost to qpr tonight.

Still got a pain in my nuts tho!

Nothing much has changed. Beat Everton and it'll be ours to lose. Swansea was one of the tougher games left. After City and Everton we should be all good. Six ahead but a game more played. Assuming they win that, we'll be three ahead so the Everton game is now vital.

only saving grace is evertons tough last 4 games.
man u - ok not tough
    southampton - tough enough
    city - very tough
    hull - who knows.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,462 ✭✭✭✭WoollyRedHat

Podolski looks like he could of given a penalty to Swansea as well with a pointless push on Bony by him. Lucky to get a point in the end.

Title hopes defintely gone, and we're going to need to play better in 90 mins for our remaining games if we want to secure top 4. That first half was turgid.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,013 ✭✭✭aramush

I remember when Liverpool beat Arsenal 5-1 and the Arsenal fans were raving about being five points ahead, now they're 3 points behind with Liverpool having a game in hand. Crazy stuff, just shows how bad Arsenal have been since that drubbing!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 52,428 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

Anyone who watched that will have to make a statement to the guards as you were witnesses to an accident. We have a lot of those it seems.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,333 ✭✭✭bad2dabone

Well we're usually cagey as **** as after a hammering.....

(the problem is hammerings happen so often now that we are cagey as ****)
