Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hope the Arteta / Wilshere axis works a bit better today. Very attacking team all the same.

Should be more than enough to beat Sunderland at home. Plenty of good options on the bench too.

I'm expecting Santi to shine being moved back into his best position while Ozil is rested.

I think we might see wilshere on the right or in the "10"

I think we might see wilshere on the right or in the "10"

    Doubt it tbh

Going from previous games I'd expect

    Arteta Wilshere
    Cazorla Rosicky Podolski
    Giroud

    Cazorla Rosicky switching a lot

Doubt it. Hard to see either Rosicky or Cazorla playing deeper.

Isn't the "10" position in the centre?

Would have liked to have seen Ox start. He's been our most effective attacker in recent weeks.

Surprised Ozil didn't make the bench.

Rosicky is a brilliant tackler. I could easily see him playing deeper. Saying that, Wilshere/Arteta is the obvious pairing.

Rosicky and Cazorla playing together! I'm really looking forward to this! Giroud will definitely score today! COYG

Would say Wenger is just resting Chamberlain. Not too long back from injury and played the full 90 on Wednesday. Good asset to have on the bench if it's not going as planned.

He's only back from injury and didnt even finish the Bayern game as a result. Just like with Sanogo it isnt worth risking them playing so much in such a short space of time.

Not a surprising team given Ozil has played 90 minutes in the biggest 4 games in a row we had this season. Deserves a rest.

I think Wenger is just being careful with Ox. Maybe afraid after what happened Theo.

I think it could be a right squeaky day. Sunderland have lads fighting for a cup final spot next week but more importantly they haven't played a full strength team in 2 weeks. Combined with our efforts over the last while it's gonna be a right battle.

Sunderland will be tough. They've really got their act together under Poyet and will be hard to break down.

I'm an idiot, I didn't see the "or" in your post, thought you said "on the right in the 10".

I can see Adam Johnson giving us a bit of bother on the left, Monreal and Podolski doesn't fill me with confidence from a defensive point of view. Saying that, we should be well able to score more goals than them, given the attacking nature of the side.

Still in our hands guys! If we tear into City and Chelsea the same way we tore into Bayern Munich then no reason why we can't beat both

Judging by the fun bags on his mistress I'd say his head was in the right place the night before the Palace game ;)

Great play by Wilshere. Some people in the mid week match thread should be shown that.
