Can you use your Debit Card in the U.S?

    I am going away to Boson in MarchI would need to use myDebit Cardwhen I arrive. Is it possible to use my Debit Card whilst I'm tere? Can I use it in the U.S at any ATM?

    Thank you for your post.

    You can use your Visa Debit Card worldwide at Chip and PIN ATM's.

    Just to mention, the daily withdrawal limit is between E100-E250 per day depending on your location.

    It would be advisable to call Bank of Ireland 365 ahead of travelling to place a note on your account as this is a monitored card.

    Hi,

    About 14 months ago I was in New York, I was able to use my Visa Debit for the most part except for once particular store (forget which, they point blank refused). I did notify Bank Of  Ireland in advance.
