Laptop Missing NTLDR

    Hi
    I have a problem with my laptop, when it starts up it says NTLDR missing(black screen) It's a Dell Latitude D430 windows xp.
    The dvd drive also stopped working a couple of weeks ago, No cd came with it either.

    Is there anything i could try? Also anyway i could get files from it?
    Any help with be greatly appreciated.

    you could create a usb boot stick with an ntldr fix
