Never been before, looking to travel within in Europe.

Best value for money is probably somewhere in Bulgaria, Poland, Czech or Andorra or Livigno in Italy.

I only have experience with Andorra, it was my first holiday as a beginner, we went to Arinsal.
Its cheap and its grand for your first time. Transfers from the airport are long though, 4 hours i think.

On a "normal" snow year id say Saalbach in Austria... BUT the snow fall has been really crap this year so if you want actual snow and not just snow canons (icey to snow board on makes it faaar more difficult to learn) then you should be looking at high resorts... St Anton, Iscghl etc... you should get a good deal for March

My first skiing holiday was in Arinsal about 8 years ago, hated it, no snow just snow canons, town not very nice and cost 1,500 each to get there... so IMO its Austria all the way just google "High altitude resorts" and you'll find many
