Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi there,

Usually when wearing jeans I wear simple plimsolls (converse etc) as I find them comfortable with jeans. They don't hike them up like boots and other bigger shoes.

Although, I do need a pair of decent shoes especially in this weather that go well with jeans. So any recommendations would be great. Nothing fancy or colorful (I'm in my 30's). I'm a size 10 with a broad foot.

Also, are black shoes (not formal shoes per se) a no no with jeans? :o

I think in general brown goes better with blue jeans, rather than black.

Chukka boots (mod style) look well with jeans. They don't come up too high on the leg like some types of boots. Generally they're suede so you'd need to treat them for wet weather. They do come in leather too though.

Ecco do leather sneaker type shoes which can be ok looking. Depends on the styles.

Adidas and Puma do nice casual runners too.

Yea, I agree with the black shoes and jeans. Brown would be what I would be looking for alright. Thanks for the recommendations, not really a fan of boots, but I will check them all out.

Tommy Bowe has a lovely range of men's shoes, bit nicer than just runners
